Still alive but leaving...

See? I am alive and glowing as usual.

I apologize to whoever reads this for the lack of updates. Unfortunately I've been stricken by a large wave of uninspired indifference about my photography/this blog.
So I kept waiting for my enthusiasm to return.

After almost two months, I finally figured out WHY I was so unwilling to update.
I am so sick of this blog, to be honest. It no longer fulfilled what I wanted to put out there.

So I am moving to my photography blog permanently,
inlifestylephotography.tumblr.com

I think my photography career (if we're going to call it that) and my personal life go hand in hand so I no longer see the need for two separate spaces.

So there you go. Look for updates, life stories, photography adventures and clients on there.
That blog will probably be abandoned next year when I plan on creating a REAL PERMANENT website with my own domain, but it should suffice until then.

Thanks for everyone who read this over the years and encouraged me to keep going in whatever direction I wanted.
You don't even realize how much this blog helped me - with venting problems, loss, joy, excitement, sharing great news, getting through rough times....

I hope to hear from you, readers/friends/family/strangers on my new blog!
GOODBYE!

Fun times

Last week my friends and I went to Tillamook and we visited the Cheese and Ice-Cream factory. It was my version of paradise. That, and spending the day to the sounds of Anamaria's cooing. Ah.

Cheese samples? You've got me under a spell....

It was soooo crowded. I can't believe how many people go to see that factory.

We got two scoops of ice cream. EACH. Now let me tell you, I LOVE ice cream. But I couldn't finish all of it! My lips went numb!

Here's why I love my friends. If Anamaria wants to try something, they let her. No big deal. It's not the end of the world if she tastes a tiny bit of ice cream! I love how relaxed they are. So normal and calm and patient. They're great parents....it's hard to believe it was just the two of them ten months ago!

I have a thing for souvenir shops. Can you tell?

That's all!

Girls' Night

Yesterday we also went to a dinner party celebrating my mom's 10th year at her workplace.

I bet everyone thinks that about their family, but I really think mine is the most beautiful.
Don't hate! :)

Anamaria vs Swing

Yesterday was AWESOME. Mom gave me and my friend, Vene a bubble bottle and we were completely obsessed. Anamaria, on the other hand, was more occupied saying hi to us from her swing!

Video of her saying "pa" (bye in romanian) coming soon!

My birthday party

I had over 20 people in our tiny apartment for my birthday, which was great, except I was too busy to take lots of pictures. Here's the best ones:

Can you tell I like kids? :)

Mother's day

Our church had a little show from the kids on Mother's day, which was amazing to see.... For us, Romanians, it's very important that our kids speak Romanian. Anyways, kids were super cute!

LORD, Snowdrops! Love those.
