I know I know....shock is washing over you but yes, it's true.
We aren't nearly done though - we only did the civil ceremony. You know...the legal part of marriage. We went to the courthouse in Vancouver, took our vows and signed the marriage license.
Of course, we forgot to bring the money for the service and when the lady asked for it, Dan just kinda started laughing.
We want to have two weddings - one here in America and one in Romania since it's basically IMPOSSIBLE to bring all his relatives and all of mine in one place. Anyways, we plan on having the wedding(s) in about two years. Ah, can't wait to start planning it.
Though technically I think I've been planning it all my life....
Well, enjoy the pictures:

Mom made the bouquet....isn't it so pretty?!

We had to wait in line...there were three more couples in front of us...but we were the most goodlooking of course.

Did my friend's hair...she's the bridesmaid for all three weddings and her dress color IS our wedding(s) color! :) I know I know...I'm so cool!

The judge said "Wow, you two have the most flair in signatures!"...but we both knew it was the nerves...

We did it!! - we were kinda nervous so I was giggling the whole time.

I didn't wear high heels since my lover is just as tall as me....haha...but hey, it sure felt comfortable!

This cake was INCREDIBLE!

AAAaaand my bridesmaid caught the bouquet so I guess she's next ;)
All in all, it was a great day. Dan and I just went out that morning and had breakfast at a french pastry shop, had coffee, went shopping....we just relaxed.
And it felt surreal...
I kept telling Dan that I don't feel any different. It just feels...the same, natural.
It's been an emotional roller coaster but it feels pretty damn great right now.
I imagine some people will be shocked about this, but really, it's just another part of life and I'm enjoying each and every second of it.
